Week 3 Results/Week 4 Preview

Hello Everyone.  I hope you all had a super sunday and won a bunch of money gambling on squares or over the internet or what have you!

Now, more importantly, we will get back to the real Sunday sport, bowling.  After three weeks everyone finds themselves continuing to lick LMB's balls, though Over the Line is making a push to win the top new team award this year lead by Colette Maguire and Jessica Downey each bowling 63 pins over their average!

Week 3 found itself a good week to be a female wanting to bowl extremely consistently.  Check this out, Beth Turner bowled a 96/96, Anna Rodriguez-Cotter bowled a 72/72, Lauren Innocenzi bowled an 86/86, and Lindsey Wojcik bowled 77/78!  Conversely, those less in touch with their consistent side included Josh Markward 177/131, Jessica Koester 106/57, and Dave Sislow 81/138.  It's almost like they were playing two different games.......

For the turkey watchin, Dave Innis and Tyler Wurst turned in conventional boring turkeys.  Mike Innocenzi almost joined the list with strikes in 3 out of 4 frames, and Suzie Rodeman turned in what I guess is called a turkey sandwich.  I think she went strike, open, strike, open, strike.  Sounds tasty to me.  Also, Pretty Boring turned in a team turkey with all four team members striking in a frame.

We might try doing a bonus game this week so stay tuned.  I realize it hasn't happened yet and things have been a little too unorganized so far this year, but some teams need help and I see no better way to offer it than some bonus bowling.  See you Sunday!!

Week 2

All right, this is my first post so bear with me.

After the first two weeks of bowling I think the league is set.  We are going to have a total of 8 teams, including some new and some old.  I will try to put up posts periodically to give people information on news or great games or bonus games or other stuff.  This week I want to send out some reminders:

-Don't forget that we will not be bowling on Sunday, February 1st.  Miller High Life is running a one second ad during some football game that cost $100,000 and I can't miss it.

-If you have members of your team that don't have last names on pinstats, have them sign on and give themself a last name or write it on a score sheet if they want to have a last name.  Those who remain last nameless will remain last nameless.

-We will start bonus games this week with I think speed bowling.  Rules will be explained Sunday....

-Any new players that have questions about scoring please ask, even though it's not real complicated.

Last week saw some amazing acts of turkey for the Jacover family.  Brian rolled 2 turkeys back to back (six strikes in a row) en route to a 222!  Evan bagged himself a turkey as well en route to a 183.  Non Jacover turkeys included myself and a guy that did it looking just like me, Andrew Kiser.  So far Lick My Balls has everyone....well....licking thier balls with 13 points, but anything can happen once bonus games start.

See you Sunday
