Well, Passover's almost over and my attention is turning to giving out some more crappy bowling awards.  Who won?  I have no idea!  Really.  Well, I have a bit of an idea.

If you're interested, I'll have a barbecue/pot luck sort of thing on SUNDAY, MAY 4TH at 5PM -- just like bowling.  We'll eat some food and give out prizes and so forth.  Bring something to eat or drink and feel free to bring some non-bowling people if you want.  We'll make them uncomfortable by talking about bowling a lot.

The Shennanigans will take place in my back yard -- 4412 N Wolcott #3N near Wolcott and Montrose.  If you drive, park on Ravenswood.  If you take the train, well, you're doing okay. 

If you would like to nominate someone for a prize, please e-mail me with ideas.  I don't really have any.

Probably should have sent this out earlier, but I just want to make sure everyone knows that there's no bowling today due to Easter.

First of all, before I forget, There is no bowling next week due to the Superbowl. Bowling will continue on February 10th.

Bad Scoring

If any of you looked at the website the first two weeks, the scoring was messed up.  It wasn't averaging scores so teams with more bowlers had higher totals.  I fixed the glitch so things will naturally sort themselves out.

Balls Have Been Licked

Week 3 was all about Lick My Balls.  John Barrett bowled 9 marks in a row (including 4 strikes in a row) before totally blowing it in the 10th frame.  He still managed to pull out a 205, though, which is more than can be said for Spencer Arne.  He also bowled 4 strikes in a row, but his 10th frame choke left him with the most frustrating of scores: 199.  Actually, I suppose 299 would be more frustrating, but I don't think we need to worry about that in our league.

But back to Lick My Balls.  April Walls was also off her knocker, bowling a 112 and 144 on a 69 average.  AND, Lick My Balls also came in second in the bonus game.  Ridiculous.

Welcome Back Ricky

I am pleased to report that Ricky Martin is back in the jukebox.  It was a rough couple of weeks without him, but the sweet melodies of "Cup Of Life" accompanied a strike and a spare for me.  Coincidence? Heck no.
